Here’s something fun. Look how much our garden has grown since we planted it in late June!

Here’s what it looked like freshly planted.

The oakleaf hydrangea on the far left gets too much sun, so we’re going to transplant it and put something else there. I’m thinking another butterfly bush since that’s doing so well.

Here’s a closer view of the garden and its growth. O = Oakleaf, Y = Yarrow (which was REALLY lovely red upon blooming), C = Coneflower.

They’re not as vibrant as they were in the summer, but I’m sure the color will get bold again in the spring.

We’ll probably plant more in the spring to fill it in. We also need to lay down some grass and define the garden bed line more. Better than this though!
