Several months ago, I read about this food subscription box called Goodies Co. Sign up and they send you a hodgepodge of snacks every month for $7. I was hesitant at first because (excuse my frankness) it’s a product of Walmart and I sometimes have iffy feelings about the company.

But I subscribed anyway. Worst case scenario? I’d lose $7 every month on a few snack packs of  cookies.

In reality, the Taster’s Box was so much better than that. It’s almost all small name brand foods, with a sprinkling of easily recognizable brands. Nuts, cookies, chips, coconut water, jams, candy, granola bars. My husband and I look forward to it arriving every month and literally make it our (very snacky, somewhat questionable in nutrition) dinner – and we still have stuff left over!

Anyway, let me get to the point. I got an email with a Goodies Box promo code offering a free month for a new subscriber.

If you want to subscribe, you can either click the image above or here. Just do it before July 25, a week from today.

There are three plans, all of which come out to $7 per month, but locking yourself in earns more points (which can later be redeemed for another free box, buying snacks you liked online, etc.).

Normally, Goodies is an invite-only thing. You have to sign up and wait for an invitation. But with with the promo code, you get started right away.

Another kind of weird benefit of subscribing to the Goodies Taster’s Box? The actual box they send it in is nice, haha. We’ve stowed all of ours away and plan to use them for storing things or as gift boxes at Christmas.

And in case you’re wondering what the average Taster’s Box has, in May it was:

  • Sour Power Straws (sour and sweet gummy straws)
  • Bronco Bob’s Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce
  • Numi Tea’s Organic Moroccan Mint Tea
  • Kathie’s Kitchen Sea Salt
  • Beanito’s Restaurant Style White Bean Chips
  • Zico Coconut Water (awesome for smoothies!)
  • A coupon for a free Wholly Guacamole product (any product! No limit!)

So there you go. And no, this post isn’t sponsored, I’m not getting paid to promote this. We just really like our Taster’s Box and thought we’d share the love. It’s an easy, cheap way to try new things. So go sign up.
